Dryer Tripping Breaker – Control Board Fault
Customer reported a dryer that was tripping the breaker whenever it was plugged in.
To diagnose the issue, I disconnected the dryer motor and unplugged the main control board. After reconnecting the motor and powering the dryer, the breaker did not trip. However, as soon as the control board was plugged back in, the breaker immediately tripped.
Diagnosis: Faulty main control board causing a short in the circuit. Customer received special offer of flat rate $139.00
Recommended Repair: Replace the main control board and inspect the wiring for any signs of damage.
