  • What Is A Home Warranty?

    With One Hour Applicance and Repair, our home warranties are a renewable one year service contract. We will provide repair or replacement of your covered home appliances and systems such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Coverage varies by plan and is listed within your warranty agreement.  

  • When Does My Coverage Begin?

    The effective date, which may be up to 30 days after the date of purchase, and expiration date would both be indicated on the front of your agreement. These dates serve as the start and end dates for coverage. Each dollar limit and aggregate limit will reset on each anniversary of the effective date throughout the agreement, if the Agreement is for more than one year. 

  • What Is Covered?

    We refer to residential system and appliances as Covered Item eligible for Service, the Covered Item must be within the main foundation of the home and attached garage, the Serviceable Area, specifically listed as a covered Item in your Agreement and in good and safe working condition on the Effective Date, unless a defect could not have been detected by a visual inspection or simple mechanical test. HVAC equipment located outside the Home is also covered, as well as other specific Items, if the coverage you selected specifically identifies a particular as a covered item. We provide Service for Covered Items that fail due to normal wear and tear. 

  • What Is The Service That One Hour Appliance Provides?

    One Hour Appliance Home Warranty collaborates with contractors to lower your unforeseen repair cost for a Covered Item that has failed. Service starts when you contact us via 980.949.6839 or visit onehourapplianceandrepair.com to report a potential failure. A Service Contractor will be sent to your home to assess the failure and report back to us. We will then determine which costs are covered by your Agreement and which are your responsibility based on the following factors: 1) if the item is a covered item; 2) the type of the failure; 3) the appropriateness of repair, replacement, or payment. If we need further details to determine coverage, we reserve the right to send an additional Contractor at our expense. If we determine replacement is appropriate, we will use reasonable efforts to find a replacement item or component replacement that performs the primary function, capacity, and efficiency of the Covered Item or Component being replaced.

  • When Is Service Available?

    During the term, Service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. A Contractor will normally Contact you within 48 HRS to schedule a time, Monday through Friday during normal business hours, for diagnosis.


    A Contractor will contact you within 24 hours when we determine there is an emergency. A condition that immediately endangers an individual’s health and safety is considered an emergency. However, an emergency does not modify our responsibility under our Agreement. 

  • Service Charge:

    For each Covered Item, you are required to pay a Service Fee directly to the contractor (for instance, a water heater and a pipe break each require two (2) Service Fees). When the contractor visits your home for a diagnosis, each Service Fee is payable. To learn more about your obligations and the extent of the Service, please read this full Agreement.
